PREPARATION YEAR 1 (Confirmation is celebrated in September 2027)

Parent Meetings: Both YEAR 1 and YEAR 2 Confirmation candidates and parents should attend ONE of these meetings:
- English: Tuesday, October 7, 2025, 6:30 PM in the church
- Spanish: Wednesday, October 8, 2025, 6:30 PM in the church

YEAR 1 Confirmation Candidates:
All Confirmation candidates must attend a parent meeting with at least one parent.
Confirmation classes will be held during Sunday Faith Formation (click here for SFF Calendar).
Orange folders including 10 service hours with reflections are due on Sunday, March 8, 2026; turn them in to your Sunday FF catechist.

YEAR 2 Confirmation Candidates:
All Confirmation candidates must attend a parent meeting with at least one parent
Forms due by November 9, 2025: click on name for form:
- Sponsor Form and
- Retreat Permission with $30 fee (click here to pay online)
Completed red folders are due on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in your Confirmation class
Missing 2 or more Wednesday night Confirmation classes will result in NOT being Confirmed in September 2026
Year 2 Confirmation Candidates must go to Sunday Faith Formation (SFF) AND additional Wednesday evening Confirmation classes as listed below:

YEAR 2 Confirmation RETREAT: Saturday, September 6, 2025
*Please eat lunch before you arrive
12:00 noon – 3:30 PM — Retreat in Hurley Hall
3:30 – 4:45 PM – Confessions in church – families and sponsors are welcome!
5:00 PM Mass – families and sponsors are welcome!
6:00 PM – Pizza dinner in Hurley Hall – families and sponsors are welcome!
7:00 – 8:30 PM – Confirmation rehearsal in church; only Confirmation candidates and sponsors need to come
YEAR 2 Confirmation CELEBRATION: TBD, to be determined
We submit dates on or around September 21, 2025, the Feast of St. Matthew the Apostle. We will not know the exact date of Confirmation until we find out from the Diocese of Joliet, usually in the summer. We will let you know and also publish here on this webpage when we find out.
